“ Pizza My Heart is a carry-out offering several types of both vegetarian pizzas and pizzas with meat toppings. Each slice costs about $6.00. The pizzas are pre-made, but then the slices you order are heated in an oven for about five minutes. The slices were large, the toppings were ample, and our two types of vegetarian pizzas were both delicious. The staff, all very friendly, can put your slices in a cardboard box or simply on paper plates to carry a minute or so to the esplanade for an inexpensive ocean-view dining experience! ”

“ I was driving from half moon bay to Carmel and got a hankering for pizza. I wasn't expecting much as it was just the first result my gps suggested and when i arrived i realized it is moreso a pizza stand than a restaurant. There's no seating inside, you walks through the door and you're basically in line at the counter. I got a slice of cheese with ranch, they put the slice in the oven because it had been sitting out so again, i had low expectations. But honestly the slice of cheese i got was exactly what i was craving, the flavor was perfect, it was thinner crust and it was a bit crunchy. “ Pretty delicious pizza- got three slices to-go, the smell of all the enticing pizza slices was just too much to pass by or just to order one. Got the big sur, little sur and a pineapple slice. The big sur definitely the favorite- packed with ingredients that just taste great together, audibly 'mmmm-ing' with every bite. Little sur pretty good too, the classic pineapple pizza is also delicious for all those fellow pineapple pizza lovers out there (it does belong on pizza!). Pizza slices are pretty big too so even one slice is pretty filling. There was a little bit of a wait in line- wait to heat the pizza, but very friendly service and pretty seamless: the pizza slices are in the display cabinet at the front so you can pick out the exact slice you want to order. Not bad for a pizza slice shop! ”

Too bad they don't offer the vegan pizza, it's popping up on the advertisement board but this location doesn't carry it. I ordered pepperoni and my son and GF shared a cheese slice since they didn't have the veggie option. I had to convince them to eat it after the person packing my pizza placed both slices on top of each other, told them only the crust touched not the meat lol, not sure why they would place a vegetarian order with a meat order together? But oh well, still slaps lol. ”

“ I remember in High School this girl had a Pizza My Heart t-shirt that I thought was cool, I never knew it was an actual restaurant at the time until more locations started popping up around the Bay Area. For $7 you get a T-shirt and a slice of pizza! Not a bad deal, and definitely great advertisement haha. I came here with my parents and we grabbed a few slices and enjoyed them on a bench near the water. This location is only a walk-up so there's no tables for dining. The pizza was bomb and we all enjoyed our food. Make sure to stop by this iconic Capitola spot when you're in town! ”
